Cape Town - Polokwane City coach Kosta Papic was happy to see his side claim all three points against Moroka Swallows, but was less than satisfied with their approach to the game.

The Yugoslavian felt the win was vital in the context of their Premiership campaign, with the result lifting them three points clear of sixth-placed Ajax Cape Town.

However, Papic made it abundantly clear that he was not happy with his players, who did not follow his tactical instructions on the day.

"We played completely differently to the way we usually play, but I don't want to blame the players now," Papic told Sapa.

"One day you're not going to play well, and one day you play fantastically and you don't win.

"Today we won the match and got the three points, which is very important for us, and I think from these three points everything is going to change for this club."

He added: "The most important thing to anyone playing football is to play the way they want, and today we didn't do that. I hope the next match will be better."
