Cape Town - Embattled Chippa United coach Ernst Middendorp concedes that there is still no clarity on his future at the club, adding that he is still on suspension and will only reveal more details once he has attended his hearing.

Middendorp has not attended training since being served with a suspension on March 30.

"I'm still at home for now, suspended and cannot disclose more information regarding the reasons behind the suspension," Middendorp told African Football website.

"There's no latest development because I'm still waiting to go to the hearing and then I can be able to talk. I'm advised not to reveal or talk about this matter as its internal and I believe I must follow that advice.

"Talking about the reason, I'm not in a position to say what's the reason but I can tell you that the outcomes of the suspension could have a huge impact on me as a coach or the club."

Middendorp has planned his career in shifting sands in the Premiership, having already coached at Bloemfontein Celtic and Kaizer Chiefs.

Many will feel that both tenures at the helm were failed experiments.

The German coach understands that this comes with the territory and he is prepared for whatever it is that might transpire in coming weeks.

"However, this is the procedure one must follow, what can we do? I must just accept it but we'll see because I don't know how long will the suspension take," added Middendorp.
