Meyiwa: Bucs' mindset is 100%

Cape Town - After winning the Carling Black Label Cup last Saturday, Orlando Pirates will shift their focus to their MTN8 match against SuperSport United on August 2.

The Sea Robbers will host the side from Pretoria at Orlando Stadium, in what is expected to be a pulsating encounter.

The Buccaneers have welcomed defender Happy Jele back to training after he was stretchered off last Saturday, complaining about being short of breath.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa is confident of a positive result against Matsatsantsa. He said winning the Carling Cup has given the team the right momentum for this match.

“We will go back and prepare for this match. It is a difficult match because SuperSport are a good side, but of course, we will go to the match prepared to play for a good result,” he said on the club's website.

“Psychologically we are 100%, maybe with a few more sessions we will be also 100% fit. Now we have won the Nedbank Cup last season, and again winning the Carling Cup last week is a massive morale boost for us.”

The match at the Orlando Stadium will kick off at 20:15.
