Meyiwa: Aces will be motivated

Johannesburg - Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa is positive that his side will have a different game against Bloemfontein Celtic, who came from a morale boosting League start as they drew 1-1 against Mpumalanga Black Aces last Sunday.

The Sea Robbers will be in search for their first victory in the ABSA Premiership, following yet another uninspiring start to the league this season.

Meyiwa reveals that his side will have to do much better ahead of the encounter and remains cautious of Celtic following the Free State side’s comeback draw against Aces.

“They are motivated - they came from a goal down against Aces and finished that game really strong. But now we are in a situation where we have to get goals and win matches,” Meyiwa said on the Buccaneers website.

"I think the group is well prepared and we all know that we have to do much better than we did against Swallows.”

Meanwhile coach Vladimir Vermezovic has welcomed winger Daine Klate back in the side - Klate struggled with stomach cramps in the match against Moroka Swallows last Saturday, and was substituted.

He has since resumed training with the rest of the squad and could well make the trip to the City of Roses.

Pirates will head to the city of Bloemfontein ahead of their match against Celtic at the Free State Stadium with game scheduled for 19:30 start.
