Mdaki off to Djurgardens

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Xolani Mdaki has joined Swedish side Djurdardens on a six-month loan.

According to KickOff, the 22-year-old has been signed to cover a number of positions said Djurgardens Sporting Director, Bosse Andersson.

“He has made a very good impression since he came here to on trial in early July,” said Andersson.

Mdaki will hope to extend his deal as Andersson reveals that they are planning to secure the services of more South African players.

“We have begun a good cooperation with Mamelodi Sundowns who is South Africa's biggest club.”

Meanwhile, Sundowns could only salvage a draw in their opening PSL encounter against Maritzburg United as Pitso Mosimane looks to win back-to-back ABSA Premiership titles.
