Amakhosi slumped to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Moroccan outfit Raja Casablanca in the first-leg tie in Durban, leaving them facing an uphill battle in the return leg.

They will square up to Raja at Stade Mohammed V this weekend as they look to overturn the deficit and secure their passage to the next round of the top-tier African showpiece.

"It's a big game for us. We have our backs against the wall, but we are not feeling discouraged," Masilela told goal.com.

"We believe we can make it as a team irrespective of the odds stacked against us.

"We have the experienced players, the players that have played in top international tournaments and their experience is what's going to help us immensely in Morocco."

Chiefs defeated Township Rollers 3-1 on aggregate in the previous round of qualifiers and if they manage to overturn the deficit on Sunday they can look forward to taking part in the second final qualifying round.
