Chiefs captain Tefu Mashamaite admits his team cannot afford to take any more
missteps this season after dropping two more points during Saturday's goalless
draw against Orlando Pirates.

When Amakhosi returned from the mid-term break, they were 15
points ahead of the Premiership pack, but after the draw against the
Buccaneers, that lead has been chopped down to just 11.
This is compounded by the fact that second-placed Mamelodi
Sundows still have a game in hand.
It is not dangerous territory yet, but Mashamaite has
nevertheless cautioned against any complacency ahead of the club’s trip to
Maritzburg United on Wednesday night.
The Team of Choice have been through a barren spell in 2015,
which is all the more reason for Chiefs to be clinical.
“What we want to do is make sure we collect as many three
points as we can in the remaining games,” Mashamaite told Soccer Laduma.
“There are very few games remaining now and each game is
almost a six pointer as all the teams want three points.
“We have forgotten about the derby and Maritzburg are next,”
“We can't afford to drop points again. We need to collect
full points against them.”
