Cape Town - Mandla Masango is looking forward to facing Ajax Cape Town on Wednesday as Kaizer Chiefs look to get back to winning ways.

AmaKhosi suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of SuperSport United, in their most recent Premiership fixture, but bounced back by beating Edu Sports 4-0 in the Nedbank Cup and seeing off Township Rollers in the CAF Champions League.

And having rediscovered their winning touch, Stuart Baxter's men will be eyeing a victory over the Urban Warriors at the FNB Stadium.

However, Masango is well aware that they will not be given a easy ride by Ajax.

"Every team we play against, bring their all to the match," he told his club's official website.

"Obviously it is not going to be easy. We are mentally prepared for the Ajax clash. Games before the Soweto Derby are a test of mental strength. We have to be mentally ready. There is a lot at stake in the Ajax match."

He added: "Ajax won their last match against Chippa United (2-0) and we lost our last league game. It is important for us to be professional and tackle each match with discipline and hunger.

"The same applies for the supporters, they must boost us by pitching up at the games.

"Our last game in the league belongs in the past tense. We are focusing on the future. We came out of a competitive win in Botswana and that is a morale booster going into the Ajax fixture.

"Yes, they [Ajax] won their last match, it's always good to come up against a winning team."

Kick-off is at 19:30.
