Maritzburg broke a losing streak in the league when they defeated Bloemfontein Celtic 1-0 away earlier in the month.

The KwaZulu-Natal team has claimed 17 points from 13 home matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Moroka Swallows (away), Orlando Pirates (home) and AmaZulu (away).

The Team of Choice is placed eighth on the Absa Premiership log with 33 points from 26 matches.

Ajax suffered a second defeat from their last three league matches when they were beaten 1-0 away at Free State Stars last week.

The Cape Town side has claimed nine points from 13 away matches this season.

Their next three league opponents are Bloemfontein Celtic (away), Moroka Swallows and Orlando Pirates (both home).

The Urban Warriors are placed sixth on the Absa Premiership log with 37 points from 27 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Maritzburg and Ajax have met in 17 league matches since 2005/06.

The Urban Warriors have claimed six wins compared to five for the Team of Choice, while five matches have been drawn.

Maritzburg have won five of their eight home matches against Ajax, suffering two defeats in the process.

When the teams met earlier this season, they played out a goalless stalemate in Cape Town.

Kick-off is at 19:30 on Tuesday, April 28.
