Cape Town - Maritzburg United are currently running the rule over Zimbabwe international Evans Rusike as they look for a replacement for Terrence Mandaza.
The Warriors striker has been in fine form this year, scoring four Zimbabwean PSL goals for Hwange Colliery, while also netting in Zimbabwe's 2-0 African Nations Championship qualifying win over Comoros last weekend.
The 23-year-old has since been invited for a week-long trial with the Team of Choice, who are in need of reinforcements after compatriot Mandaza's contract was allowed to expire.
The trip to South Africa means Rusike will now miss the return CHAN fixture against Comoros this weekend.
