Cape Town - SuperSport United's Lebogang Manyama said the 2-1 win
against Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Sunday was
the ideal send-off for Matsatsantsa fans ahead of the mid-season break.

SuperSport United moved up to the 11th position in the league standings on Sunday, as they have now accumulated 20 points during the Premiership campaign. The brace scored by Manyama contributed significantly to the club’s cause on the afternoon.
"It's been tough for us, but we had to unite as a team," said Manyama.
Prior to this fixture, SuperSport had failed to collect maximum points in four consecutive matches. That series of results hampered their title aspirations and also put the club in dangerous territory in the league standings.
The Pretoria-based club needed this result and Manyama is just grateful that the objective was ultimately realised.
"This week we worked on getting into the box, getting the crosses in, and fortunately we got two goals from two crosses," said Manyama.
"I think it's a good send-off for our fans for the festive season."
