Manqele supports Mandela Day

Mamelodi Sundowns striker Edward Manqele and manager Josiah Mphono will team up with Nelson Mandela's granddaughter, Zoleka, at the Badisa Day Care Centre in Johannesburg as part of their 67 minutes for Mandela initiative.

"It is important to honour Madiba in such a special way. The former president taught us the true meaning of humanity and generosity and this is the best way to give it back to the community", Mphono told KickOff.com website.

Manqele, who is being eyed by Kaizer Chiefs following the announcement that he wishes to leave the club, will have plenty on his mind, but insists that today is not about football, but rather about giving back to the community.
