Malokase explores his options

Cape Town - Platinum Stars veteran Patrick Malokase is not yet clear on what path his career will take once his current contract with the club expires.

Malokase has been with Dikwena for the past four seasons and was a part of the Platinum Stars team that finished second in the Premiership during the 2012/13 campaign.

The 33-year-old attacker was also a member of the Orlando Pirates team that conquered South Africa in 2011, and has won the Nedbank Cup, Telkom Knockout and MTN 8 tournaments.

While Malokase has achieved a considerable amount during his football career, there are strong indications that he wants to continue playing for at least another two seasons. The jury is still out on where he is most likely to end his career though.

"For now my management team headed by Thato Matuka is handling my affairs. As I have said before I feel that I have two more good seasons in me," Malokase told Soccer Laduma.

"My team has decided on the way forward so we are still finalising some minor details," added Malokase.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
