Malawian striker at Cosmos

Cape Town - Another Malawian, striker Muhammad Sulumba, is undergoing trials at newly-promoted Absa Premiership side Jomo Cosmos.

The Telkom Wanderers striker impressed Cosmos boss, Jomo Sono, during the COSAFA Cup tournament in North West province in May.

A source at Ezenkosi confirmed that the strongly-built striker is doing trials at the team.

He said it's almost a week now since the striker has been there.

"Yes there is a Malawian striker here. He arrived last week," the source said.

“I am not sure how long he is going to be here but yes he is here for trials.”
