According to Soccer Laduma, Makola admits that losing the Telkom Knockout and MTN8 Cup was tough to swallow and that they are looking to redeem themselves with the claiming glory in the Confederations Cup.
“We are looking forward to our clash against Kaloum more especially that we have two away goals,” said Makola.
“CAF is the only thing which can add some positivity to what has been a rough year for the club.
“We know where we went wrong this season and we have to minimise those mistakes if we want to ensure next season is a success.”
Pirates won the first leg 2-0 in Mali and look to secure their place in the group stages of the tournament.
The second leg encounter is set to be played at Bidvest Wits Stadium with a 15:00 kick-off.
