Cavin Johnson recently returned to the Dikwena helm and made a winning start as his side clinched a 2-1 victory over Ajax Cape Town at the weekend.
Makola is wary of the threat posed by the Premiership stragglers, who will be aiming to move further away from an impending relegation scrap. However, the midfield man is confident that Pirates are ready for the challenge.
"I think it's going to be a difficult game," Makola told his club's official website.
"They have appointed a new coach and it's known that when a new coach comes into the picture the players will always want to impress.
"I know they will come looking to steal a win but we are ready for them."
Makola is expecting a game full of attacking play from both sides and feels the Bucs will claim all three points on home soil.
He added: "They have capable players and are currently looking for points, just like us, so you can expect an attacking game.
"We enjoy playing that kind of game, with a high tempo, and we'll look to create chances for our forwards to win the game. We want to put up a dominant performance.
"Our approach to every match is the same, we looking for three points. Orlando is our home and we have worked very hard to make people respect that fact again, so we obviously have to be disciplined and make sure we keep our shape at all times."
