Pirates midfielder Mpho Makola has urged his team-mates to target a
second-placed finish and qualify for next season's CAF Champions League.

The task is easier said than done, however, as Pirates will
need to overtake in-form Mamelodi Sundowns, who have only lost one of their
last 15 games in all competitions.
The Buccaneers are only three points behind the Brazilians,
but have played one more game.
Ahead of the midweek encounter with Mpumalanga Black Aces at
Orlando Stadium, Makola has called on his team to try and win every match
between now and the end of the campaign to ensure they have the best chance of
reaching their aim.
"We want to play in next year's Champions League and we
know it won't come by itself, it will need us to play our part," the
