Makhubela appointed by Arrows

Cape Town - Golden Arrows have ended speculation by announcing Abel Makhubela as their new assistant coach to Serame Letsoaka.

“Lamontville Golden Arrows is pleased to announce the appointment of Abel Makhubele as assistant coach,” the statement from the club said.

Abel's experience ranges from the provincial fields through to PSL and has been involved in football since 2001.

His career began in 2001 when he was appointed as the development coach for Limpopo Province and enjoyed a nine year stint in that position.

He then transitioned to professional football where he was appointed as assistant coach to Black Leopards in the 2012/2013 season. Thereafter he was appointed as caretaker coach of the team.

Abel’s experience has seen him coaching a number of teams in the Limpopo province including the Maindis Ladies FC and the under-19 Limpopo team who he took to win the Metro Cup in 2009.
