Majoro starts life with Bucs

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana striker Lehlohonolo Majoro will officially start training with Absa Premiership giants Orlando Pirates on Thursday morning.

‘Major’, 27, completed his move to the Buccaneers from rivals Kaizer Chiefs earlier this week on a free transfer after a PSL DRC declared him a free agent - and eligible to play with immediate effect.

Majoro's contract with Chiefs was due to expire in June this year.

Pirates, currently in sixth position in the standings, 16 points behind the Amakhosi, albeit having played three fewer matches, next face Free State Stars at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday, March 1. Kick-off is at 20:15.

According to the Kick-Off website, Majoro took to Twitter on Wednesday, writing: No evil shall prosper when I have mighty God by my side. feels good to be back.

Majoro included a picture of his boots, along with the words ‘ssshi m back’ (Shhh, I'm back)
