Majoro is 'lethal' - Erasmus

Johannesburg - With eight goals between the two strikers, Kermit Erasmus has revealed that he can see why Pirates purchased Lehlohonolo Majoro.

According to the PSL website, Erasmus has praised Majoro and says both of them should continue taking their chances provided by their teammates.

“Majoro is a very good striker, and you can see why Pirates have signed him, he’s a lethal striker,” said Erasmus.

“It’s not about the amount of runs you make, or the tackles you make as a striker, but it's about scoring goals, and it’s great for the team that we have both been contributing.

“I think we have eight goals between us in the last four or five games. The team relies on the strikers – we have so many skillful players to provide us with the chances, it’s up to us to deliver.”

Erasmus has scored four goals this season in all competitions and is relieved that his hard work after training has been paying off.

“Not really, I have just been working really hard at training, and I have been staying on afterwards to do extra work on my finishing. I’ve been pleased with how things have gone so far this season, I am getting regular game-time, and scoring goals.”
