Cape Town - Central defender Rooi Mahamutsa has signed a new contract with Absa Premiership giants Orlando Pirates.
According to the Orlando Pirates website, the deal will see him playing in the Black and White colours of the Buccaneers for a further three years.
Mahamutsa, who joined the club in 2008, has been out of action for over a month while recovering from an elbow injury but now with his future secured on board the Bucs ship, Mahamutsa said he can focus on getting back to action.
“I had a meeting with the chairman to finalise my deal,” said Mahamutsa. “The whole process was straightforward, I’ll be playing here for a further three years now I can concentrate on getting back to full fitness so that I can do what I love - playing football.
