The former Ajax Cape Town teenager, who will spend the remainder of the season at Matsatsantsa, had experienced a slight dip in form during the past 12 to 18 months but promises the Pretoria football fraternity that he will rise to the occasion during his time at the club.
"I am joining a big club that has a proven record when it comes to winning trophies," Magqwaka told SAPA.
"The team and fans can expect a player that has a great will to win and compete at the highest level.
“I see this as a great opportunity for me to revive my career and contribute positively to the success of the team," added Magqwaka.
SuperSport United CEO Stan Matthews thinks that Magqwaka will add considerable value to the club, primarily he will provide competition among the defenders in the squad.
"He's a very young and highly-rated defender, and to get him from under the noses of some top clubs is amazing.
“He'll create further competition for places in our defence," said Matthews.
