Madida handed permanent role

Cape Town - Fani Madida has been appointed as Moroka Swallows head coach on a permanent basis the club has confirmed.

Following the resignation of Zeca Marques, Madida took over as caretaker coach and has been working hard, according to the club's website.

The club released a statement confirming the news:

“Moroka Swallows have announced that Fani Madida has been appointed as Head Coach with immediate effect.

CEO , Leon Prins commented that Swallows Management had full confidence in Fani and considering the work he has put in preparing the squad for the second half of the season and the excellent spirit and work ethic he has instilled in the players , there was no need to delay such a decision.

The squad has trained very hard during the break and we look forward to a successful second round.”
