Cape Town - Moroka Swallow coach Fani Madida is happy with how his side is playing and refused to openly blame his players for their 2-0 defeat to Bidvest Wits.

"We are doing well as a team and have been playing very well, but tonight we just let in two stupid goals from the same player, Kwakman," Madida said.

Both goals the Dube Birds conceded came through Kees Kwakman from set-piece plays. What was more frustrating for Madida is his side knew of Wits' strength in this area of the game.

"We went for a different approach in this game as we brought in (Sipho) Moeti just to have more urgency in our game and to have a different approach.

“I cannot blame the players they did well and the Wits goals came from standard situation.

"We will keep fighting and I believe one of the days we will get a positive result."

The result sees Wits move up to second place in the Absa Premiership, while Swallows remain in 14th with 19 points from their 20 games.
