MTN8 final venue revealed

Cape Town - Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium will host the 2014/15 MTN8 final between Soweto rivals, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.

CEO of the PSL, Brand De Villiers, confirmed the Durban stadium as the host venue according to the league's official website.

“We are excited to announce that the MTN8 final will be hosted by Durban – a place that has proven to be a huge success for us in the last couple of years.” said De Villiers.

Tickets for the Soweto Derby edition of the MTN8 go on sale on Friday, September 5 at 13:00

De Villiers expects tickets to sell out fast and warned fans not to wait to secure their tickets.

“What I can say to the fans is that they must purchase their ticket soon. We know that the stadium can only take around 50 000 and, once we reach safety capacity, we will close the sale of tickets. ”

Fans can purchase their tickets from Computicket or Shoprite at a cost of R80.

The 2014/15 MTN8 final will kick-off at 20:15 on Saturday, September 20 2014.
