Vladimir Vermezovic will have an intensive training session as the Sea Robbers prepare to host Free Ea Lla Koto at Orlando Stadium the club’s website confirms.

The Buccaneers are enjoying a clean bill of health, with defender Lucky Lekgwathi being declared fully recovered from flu and a foot injury.

However Thabo Matlaba is nursing an Achilles tendon injury he picked up with Bafana Bafana this week.

The club’s medical team said: “He did not train today; he is under treatment and we will soon be able to tell when he will return to the team.”

Meanwhile, Vermezovic has been fine-tuning his squad ahead of this tie with Stars.

Helder Pelembe from Mozambique is back in the country, while Senzo Meyiwa, Kermit Erasmus and Oupa Manyisa have also reported for training after Bafana’s goalless draw against Congo in Polokwane.

Last season Bucs took four points off Ea Lla Koto, winning 2-0 in Soweto and drawing 1-1 away in the Free State.

Kick-off set for 20:15 on Saturday, October 18.
