Lebusa over the moon with Bafana call-up

Cape Town – Ajax Cape Town left-back Mosa Lebusa reveals that he wasn’t expecting to be called up to the Bafana Bafana squad.

According to the Urban Warriors website, the 22-year-old says that it has always been a dream of his to represent the country and don the Bafana Bafana jersey.

"I’m excited to hear this news, although I wasn’t expecting it," Lebusa said.

"I am very happy about being called up to play for Bafana, because it’s always been my dream to represent my country.

"Now that dream has come true for me, I will do my best to grab this opportunity and do everyone proud who has kept believing in me.”

South Africa take on Costa Rica on Thursday, October 8 in Liberia at the Baltodano Bricenio Stadium.

Kick-off is at 04:00 SA time on Friday, October 9.

Five days later, Bafana Bafana clash against Honduras at the Metropolitano Stadium in San Pedro Sula.

Kick-off is at 00:00 SA time.
