Lebese going nowhere

Cape Town – George Lebese will be wearing the Kaizer Chiefs colours next season and any rumours linking him to Sundowns are put to bed by Amakhosi football mananger Bobby Motuang.

According to Kickoff.com Motuang is firm that there have been no talks between the Glamour Boys and the Brazilians.

“There is nothing like that. George is not going anywhere and anyway there have been no talks [with Sundowns].”

Lebese has made 82 appearances for Chiefs and scoring six goals since making his debut in 2008/2009 season.

“Milkshake” as known to the Chiefs supporters is ready for the new season and says that he has new goals, a clear mind and hungry to perform.

"I think I found my scoring boots last season and it's always good dishing out good performances and getting on the score sheet.”

“I'm more confident and I'm looking to continue where I left off at the end of last season," said Lebese to the Kaizer Chiefs website.

The Soweto based clubs first big game is the Carling Black Label Cup at the FNB stadium where they face rivals Orlando Pirates on the 26 July.
