Cape Town – Kaizer Chiefs winger, George Lebese, is excited to don the new Amakhosi home jersey in the upcoming season.
The jersey is in gold and has vertical black stripes. The shorts are gold, while the socks will be in gold again.
“This is very beautiful,” said Lebese on the club’s official website when seeing the new jersey.
“It’s bold and the colours explain the Kaizer Chiefs history. The beauty of the jersey actually cares that the pressure is now on us as players to live up to the expectations. Especially as the club has come up with such a stunning jersey.”
In partnership with Nike, a jersey has been created that is as light and agile as possible.
That’s done because in the modern game each player covers 17% more of the pitch than only five years ago, an amazing feat.
The present players also make 37% more sprints during a game than their predecessors did back in 2010.
However, thanks to Nike’s new technology, this lightweight kit has greater ventilation than ever before, which cares that the jersey is not sweaty and therefore very comfortable to wear, even on a hot summer afternoon.
“I appeal to the supporters to buy the jersey to continue supporting the team.
“It’s indeed very light and that’s great, especially with the summer coming up soon.”
