Late fitness test for Nyondo

Cape Town - University of Pretoria are hopeful striker Atusaye Nyondo will be fully fit for Wednesday's Premiership clash against Ajax Cape Town.

The Malawi international hurt his shoulder during Malawi's 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Algeria last month.

He has since recovered, but AmaTuks head coach Steve Barker has revealed that he was still uncomfortable during a friendly match over the past weekend.

"We'll have to wait until just before the game (against Ajax), but we are hoping he'll be okay," Barker is quoted as saying by the Sowetan.

The 23-year-old was the side's top goalscorer last season with seven league goals, and has already netted twice for the struggling Pretoria outfit in this campaign.
