Langerman, who has become a prominent feature for the Brazilians during the past three seasons, will be at the Chloorkop until 2018 and is naturally delighted by the outcome of the negotiations with the management team at Bafana Ba Style.
"Yes, it's true I have signed a new three-year contract," Langerman told Soccer Laduma.
Langerman, who is one of the more seasoned campaigners in the Premiership, has already lifted the league title twice before - once at Sundowns and another with SuperSport United.
However, the defender still has unfinished business and believes that ‘Downs are the club that will help him achieve his objectives.
"I am very happy with the new deal and I will continue to work hard to help the team achieve great things like winning trophies," he added.
"I thank Mr Motsepe for his continued support to the players and the team as a whole."
