Lamola going nowhere - Celtic

Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic chairman, Max Tshabalala has once again come out to deny speculation linking their top goal scorer last seaon, Lerato Lamola, with a move away from the club.

“Firstly I want to make it distinctively clear that Lerato Lamola is a most integral part of the team. We have never under any circumstances discussed with any team his possible transfer,” Tshabalala said.

The chairman reassured the multitudes of Celtic supporters that Lamola will still be part of the team.

“I have said it before that we will not sell any of our key players as the plan is to have a competitive side in the new season,” said Tshabalala.

It has been reported that Lamola was unhappy with the Celtic’s failure to hold their end of the season awards, as the striker felt he deserved something from the club in which he was the second top goal scorer in the Absa premiership with 13 goals.
