Cape Town - Lerato Lamola cannot wait to start the new PSL season as he looks to do better than the 13 goals that saw him finish the 2014/15 campaign as the PSL’s second top scorer.
“I’m just looking forward to the new season at Celtic, to work hard and keep banging in the goals. I can’t wait for the new season to come,” he told Sport24.
The 29-year-old paid homage to all the contributing factors that helped him have such good season.
“I was very calm on the field but it helps having such good players around me.
“Strikers get the benefit for goals but people don’t look at who created the goal, from the goalkeeper to even the supporters, they all add value.
Lamola has set himself the target of simply scoring more in the season to come.
“If I can score more than the 13 goals that I got last season then I will be very happy."
