Cape Town - Bradley Carnell insists that anybody who accepted the Kaizer Chiefs job after Stuart Baxter’s successful reign had to be brave.

The former Bafana defender has applauded the Amakhosi management for going with a local coach and hopes this is a good omen for South African football.
“It is good that all three so called top clubs are managed by local guys,” he said to Sport24.
“It is a good route that local football is going in that respect.
When asked about Komphela’s prospects at Chiefs, Carnell suggested that it would be a very difficult task to take Chiefs to another level but commended Komphela’s self-belief.
“I hope he proves me wrong because he is a good guy but it will be difficult to replace Stuart Baxter.
“Any coach that came in must have a lot of guts, a lot of bravery, a lot of courage!”
