Klate's Bucs exit imminent

Cape Town - Reports suggest that Orlando Pirates midfielder Daine Klate is set to be sold by the club before the close of the transfer window.

According to KickOff, the former Bafana Bafana winger’s agent Tim Sukazi revealed that the player will exit Parktown.

Klate has been linked with a move to Bidvest Wits or SuperSport United.

However, Sport24 can report that a move to the Clever Boys will not happen following Gavin Hunt's comments, saying Wits will have to break the bank in order to secure the services of Klate.

That leaves only United, Klate's former club. The move could be his swansong as he edges into his thirties.

Last year Klate celebrated 10 years of playing in the PSL after he got his break at Matsatsantsa in 2004.

It has been said that Sukazi and Klate have already finalised the paper work and an announcement is imminent.

The Sea Robbers have already sold Tlou Segolela to Platinum Stars as Dr Irvin Khoza looks to reshuffle the Buccaneers' squad with new recruits.

Tshepo Gumede and Siyabonga Mpontshane have already inked deals at the Parktown club from Dikwena.
