Cape Town - Retired Kaizer Chiefs fan favourite Doland 'Ace' Khuse encouraged players such as Thabo Rakhale, Masibusane Zongo and Hendrick Ekstein, to continue using their natural talent and ignore the criticism that has come their way.
“For me these players are not showboating as some people have been saying it, but they are using their talents to beat opponents so I do not really understand this heavy criticism,” Khuse said.
“It’s very unfair, as long as these players do their dribbling in a profitable way to their teams; it’s not a problem at all.”
Khuse, who coaches the Chiefs reserve team, said a lot of players used their skill during his playing days and the fans enjoyed it and does not see any problem even today.
“We did it in our days and in Europe you have players like Messi and Ronaldo using tricks to beat defenders so I really do not understand why people are coming hard on our players,” he said.
