Cape Town - The agent of Itumeleng Khune says his client is still attracting interest from abroad as talks with Kaizer Chiefs continue.
The 28-year-old is currently a free agent after turning down a new contract with Amakhosi at the end of the 2014/15 Premiership campaign.
The Bafana Bafana goalkeeper is keen to play in Europe, but is yet to receive a concrete offer as the start of the new season edges ever closer.
However, his representative, Dan Lichman, has revealed that Khune could yet agree a new contract with Chiefs.
"I have left the company [Triple S] for other opportunities," Lichman informed The Sowetan.
"We both continue to work with Khune. He has opportunities in Europe but is waiting on the outcome of a meeting with Chiefs to see if they can reach an agreement.
"He is waiting on Bobby Motaung [Chiefs football manager]."
