The Glamour Boys cruised to the Premiership title with three games to spare this term, setting new points (69) and win (21) records along the way.
South African international Khune now has three PSL winners' medals to his name, having previously achieved the feat in 2005 and 2013, and the shot stopper admits he is overjoyed with his career at Naturena.
"I broke through in 2004, joining the first team at the age of 17. Rowen Fernandez was the number one goalkeeper at the time,” Khune told his club's official website.
"Who would have thought that this kid from Ventersdorp would become part of history of this great club, having now already won three league trophies."
Chiefs' Premiership success made it a double for AmaKhosi this term.
The Naturena club lifted the MTN8 trophy at the beginning of the campaign, although they will be looking for much more in the CAF Champions League next year, having crashed out at the first round in 2015.
