Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs captain Itumeleng Khune was pumped up after his side claimed that league title with a 1-1 draw against SuperSport United on Wednesday.
According to the Soccer-Laduma website, the goalkeeper admits that they were hoping to grab victory over Matsatsantsa, but with a point being enough for them to take the crown, he was satisfied with the result.
Khune then went on to thank the club's supporters, saying that they deserve to celebrate the triumph this season.

"What a game it was. We came out here, we wanted a win, but we walked away with a point which made us champions. So, we are very happy with a point, we can take it," he said.
"Credit must go to our supporters, they have been great the whole season. They deserve everything.
"We are the champions!"
