Khune: SA to come to a standstill

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune believes the country will come to a standstill as the Soweto Derby looms.

Khune was back to his old ways for Amakhosi as he put in a Man of the Match performance against Mpumalanga Black Aces.

According to KickOff, the 28-year-old ensures that their focus was solely on the Aces fixture despite the Orlando Pirates encounter approaching.

“We needed to take care of this game first, our focus was here, so now we can start preparing for Saturday,” said Khune.

“It’s a big one, the country is coming to a standstill, everyone will be watching, so we cannot afford to disappoint.

“It will be our home game again so hopefully things will go our away and we’ll collect another three points and clean sheet.”

Pirates and Chiefs clash at FNB Stadium on Saturday, October 31.

Kick-off is at 15:30.
