Khumalo: It's not over

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Doctor Khumalo believes that silly mistakes caused their disappointing 2-1 loss to Santos on Sunday.

Khumalo, along with Donald Khuse and Arthur Zwane, have yet to taste victory since taking over from Vladimir Vermezovic - with Chiefs going three games without a win.

The South African legend was unhappy with the result, but says that the title race is not over until its over.

"Let's congratulate Santos. We came here with a game plan that we have to get maximum points," he said.

"Definitely we made silly fouls at the back. Unfortunately we let in two silly goals in two minutes. I must say that it's just back to the drawing board."

When asked if it was a tough job to come in so late in the season, he said: "I would like to believe that if you are given this task, you just have to soldier on and try to persuade the guys. We've been in this game and part of the Kaizer Chiefs family for quite some time.

"But it's not over until it's over."
