Khenyeza seals Aces deal

Johannesburg - Former Ajax Cape Town striker Mabhudi Khenyeza has signed a deal with newly promoted PSL outfit, Mpumalanga Black Aces.

According to the Soccer-Laduma website, Khenyeza recently started training with AmaZayoni, with a view of penning a deal, with a high ranking official at the club now confirming the signing.

Khenyeza stopped training with Ajax earlier this month and flew back home to Durban to await the outcome of his pending appeal.

The 31-year-old striker is appealing against a 12-month ban by the PSL as punishment for his spitting incident in Ajax’s defeat against Mamelodi Sundowns back in April. Aces are now looking to address the player’s ban with the PSL.

Khenyeza joins former Ajax and Orlando Pirates midfielder, Clifford Ngobeni, at the club, in what is a new-look side headed by coach Clive Barker.
