“Patience has always been the key to success, and I’m happy that I’ve been given the chance to get back out on the pitch,” said the 24-year-old striker.
According to Soccer Laduma, Ndlovu was handed his first start of the season in Matsatsantsa’s 3-1 win over Platinum Stars and the player's relief to be back in the fold was clearly evident.
“I’m glad that coach Gordon and the technical team have faith in me, but the hard work doesn't end here.” said Ndlovu.
“We still have a long way to go," added Ndlovu, who is currently with SuperSport United on a season-long loan having joined the club from Israelee outfit Maccabi Haifa.
Matsatsantsa’s 3-1 win over Platinum Stars helped the club move ever so slightly away from the relegation zone with the club now three points clear of last-placed AmaZulu.
Such is the nature of the league this season that SuperSport lie in 12th position, but are just four points behind fourth-placed Bidvest Wits.
Gordon Igesund's men next face Bloemfontein Celtic at home on Saturday, September 27 at 20:15.
