Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns will play defending champions Platinum Stars in the semi-finals of the Telkom Knockout, after narrowly beating AmaZulu 2-1 during extra time on Saturday.
Dikwena knocked the Brazilians out of the tournament last season as well as in the MTN8 this season, but according to the Soccer Laduma website, Sundowns midfielder Hlompo Kekana says they will keep pushing until they achieve what they want.
Kekana insists his side are determined to win more than one trophy this season and are aiming to start with the Telkom Knockout.
"We missed out on the MTN8 and this is another chance for us to win a trophy. Yes we needed extra time to beat AmaZulu and that's what we did as well against University of Pretoria. We know Stars are the defending champions and we will keep on pushing until the finals. It's just one game away and two games to win the trophy. It won't be easy just as it wasn't easy on Saturday, but we will keep on pushing," the former SuperSport United midfielder explained.
