Katongo returns to Zambia

Cape Town - Former Bidvest Wits striker Christopher Katongo has gone back to his home country Zambia and he has signed for his former army side Green Buffaloes. 

A source in Zambia told Sport24 that the former Jomo Cosmos striker is happy to be back at home to help Buffaloes. 

"Katongo is back here at home in Zambia where he has joined Buffaloes, his former army side," the source said.

“This is the team that gave him the break into international football and he is happy to be at back home.  

"He has already started training with the team and he is looking very good."
