Cape Town - TP Mazembe midfielder Rainford Kalaba says it will be difficult to beat a Mamelodi Sundowns side full of "all the great players in South Africa".

Democratic Republic of Congo side TP Mazembe, four time CAF Champions League winners, will meet with Sundowns in a first round first leg clash in Pretoria on March 14, with the second leg affair scheduled for April 5 in Lubumbashi.

Zambian international Kalaba concedes his side will have to be at their best to beat one of South Africa’s richest clubs, current league champions Sundowns.

"It will not be an easy team to beat because they have almost all the great players in South Africa and they are playing good football at the moment," the Chipolopolo captain said.

Sundowns beat St Michel of The Seychelles 4-1 on aggregate in a preliminary qualifying game, while TP Mazembe had a bye.

The DRC club last played a South African club in 2013, when they lost to Orlabndo Pirates, also in the Champions League.
