Jomo: All to play for now

Cape Town - Jomo Sono admits to being happy after securing a vital point against Black Leopards in their PSL Promotion/Relegation Play-off encounter.

Jomo  Cosmos entered the match atop the mini-league standings, albeit on goal difference following their 4-1 thrashing of Moroka Swallows on Sunday, but were unable to find the same ruthless streak as they were held in front of the their home fans.

The draw means Cosmos now have four points from three matches, the same as Leopards, while Swallow sit one adrift, but having played a game less than both their play-off opponents.

According to KickOff, Sono believes that it will come down to how the teams perform against one another in the remaining games

“They [Leopards] had a week’s rest, and we will also now have a week’s rest which is good for us, but we are still in it and are happy with a point,” said Sono.

“It’s now up to them [Leopards] how they will play against Swallows, and it’s up to us how we play against Swallows.”

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
