Johnson not sweating over Niang

Cape Town - The potential transfer of Mame Niang to Sundowns is gathering momentum following Cavin Johnson's latest comments about the player.

Kickoff.com are reporting that the deal, which will see Niang and Dove Wome swap clubs, is likely to be concluded and SuperSport United coach Cavin Johnson is not particularly bothered about losing Niang.

Johnson knows that these types of transfer are merely part of the game and he is preferring to keep his focus on the job at hand.

The SuperSport United coach commented that he will not begrudge Niang should he decide to leave and will wish the player well.

Johnson is confident that he has the players to cope with the loss and may be ready to move into the transfer market if he feels he has to.

Downs coach Pitso Mosimane increased the speculation by confirming that, like everybody else, he too thinks Niang is a good player.
