Johnson ecstatic to land Ntuli

Cape Town - Bongi Ntuli joined Platinum Stars on a one-year loan from Mamelodi Sundowns and coach Cavin Johnson is really happy to have him on board.

Ntuli will stay with Dikwena for the entire 2015/16 season and there is a strong chance that the move will be made permanent when the loan deal comes to an end.

“We are very happy to have him, he’ll bring great competition to our side,” Johnson told Sport24.

“This a great deal because this is going to make us much stronger.

“We are very happy to have him on board for sure. Well he is on loan from Sundowns for the upcoming season, and we are hoping to buy him next year.“

Ntuli will look to settle in quickly with the season fast approaching, and made his Dikwena entrance at this weekend’s Mbombela Cup won by Aces, however his first big test will be up against his parent club, Sundowns, in the MTN8 quarter-finals on August 2.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
