Cape Town - Platinum Stars coach Cavin Johnson believes it is too early in the season to talk about winning the title after he was named the Premiership Coach of the Month for September and October.
Johnson has steered Dikwena to the summit of the Premiership with an undefeated record of five wins and three draws in the award period.
The coach is no stranger to success at the Rustenburg club, having guided them to a runner-up finish in the 2012/13 season during his first stint in charge of Platinum Stars and believes it is still far to early to start talking about the title despite their current form.
"It's still early days in the season. We're happy with our performance thus far," Johnson told Goal website.
"The fact that we are top of the log means that we worked very hard in the pre-season but for us it's not about being top of the log. It's about maintaining a brand of football that we try to instill.
"It's about building the brand slowly and allowing our development players to come through this year."
Dikwena surged to the top of the table with a comprehensive 2-0 victory at the Tuks Stadium on Sunday after second half strikes from Bongi Ntuli and Letladi Madubanya.
